I could probably wear a chambray shirt everyday because they go with everything! To keep people from thinking I wear the same top all the time I invested in some chambray tops with simple designs to add a little spice to life. 

The holidays are approaching quickly. My favorite part about that is FAMILY!! With my husband being in medical school we're not very close to our families so it is a privilege when we actually get to see them. My aunt, uncle, and cousins are in town right now. They are the best! My cousins love the kids. They get spoiled when the family comes to visit. The boys went a football game, we have done some shopping, eaten some good food, and played games. Dress for your shape: Straight

Fall edition

Today I am featuring the straight body type, which is when your bust and hips are about the same width and you have little to no waist. The goal for a straight body type is to create curves and interest. This outfit accomplishes that with the wide leg pants and eye catching colors. Straights have the freedom to wear lots of different prints, textures, and details in an outfit. Having a wide design at the waist adds dimension to your frame by breaking up the top and bottom half of the body, making it look like curves. It also gives definition to the waist like a wide belt would. 

In this look she is wearing a kimono top with a skinny jean. Skinny jeans were made to show off curves so they are great at giving straight body types some shape. The kimono has a fun print and bright colors that add dimension to your frame. So go ahead straights, have fun! Your shape is perfect for bright colors, lots of belts, ruffles, and prints.

I could wear this dress everyday if that was socially acceptable! It is so comfortable and goes with everything in my closet. Because the dress is short sleeves I waned to make it more fall appropriate by adding this cropped sweater. I love the textured floral pattern that gives it a more feminine look. This necklace is perfect for someone that likes layering necklaces, but is not very good at it...that would be me! This gives the layered look without me doing any of the work. It was a great price too. Lastly, I have to mention the shoes. Do you have Sperry top-siders? If so, you know what I mean when I say they are the MOST comfortable shoes in the world. These shoes offer the same kind of comfort with a more classy look.

Are you seeing a pattern with me? I always go for comfort. I love the idea of the stylish mom in stilettos, but that just doesn't work for me. I have an almost 2 year old and an 8 month old. That means the little one is usually in a baby carrier while I chase her older brother all over the park. High heels in the grass while trying to run...that's a funny thought. Anyways, I like to be stylish and chic, but still comfortable. What are some of your comfortable, yet classy items? I need to add them to my closet :)

I am totally and completely in love with this top!!! It is so elegant with the ivory lace on top and the light pink underneath. It can also be worn so many ways...with a high waisted skirt tucked in, some boyfriend distressed jeans to give a classy relaxed look, should I go on?...The earrings are beautiful, but not an everyday choice for me since I have little ones that like to grab and pull shiny things! It's always fun to put a pair of dangley (is that a real word) earrings on because I know it must be a special occasion-maybe even a date with my husband! So if you're feeling like dressing up, put on some lace and shiny earrings and you will feel like a million bucks! Have a great day!
